Lovia, Shopify commerce implementation
Sustainable fashion and product traceability

Lovia

Lovia’s WooCommerce store was replatformed to Shopify with a brand-led experience and custom Product DNA features that make materials, makers and provenance visible to customers.

Background

Lovia is a Finnish design brand creating bags and accessories from surplus materials. Its circular approach gives every material, maker and production choice a role in the product story.

Challenge

The WooCommerce store no longer supported the brand’s content or customer-experience ambitions. Content management was difficult, development was slow and the technical structure limited how clearly the product’s provenance could be communicated.

Delivery

We migrated products, customers and content to Shopify and built a storefront around Lovia’s visual identity. A custom Product DNA element shows where materials come from, who made each item and where it was produced. DNA-based discovery lets customers filter products using material and responsibility criteria.

Impact

The storefront is now part of the brand’s transparency story as well as a sales channel. Shopify gives the team a more flexible operating model, while custom discovery turns traceability into a useful part of the shopping experience.
