Background
Puustjärven Kello ja Kulta is a long-established specialist retailer in central Kuopio. The physical boutique is central to the business, while ecommerce has become an increasingly important sales channel.
Challenge
The Nethit-based ecommerce and till setup had become restrictive and expensive to develop. Updating the storefront was difficult, its visual experience no longer met current expectations and the physical store needed a more modern point-of-sale system.
Delivery
We designed and built a new Shopify storefront and migrated the necessary product data and content. Shopify POS was supplied and installed in the physical store, including hardware setup and staff training.
Impact
Online and in-store sales now operate in one Shopify ecosystem. The team can manage the storefront directly, the store checkout is connected to the same platform and future improvements can be delivered more quickly and cost-effectively.
The new online store and point of sale finally feel like us and work extremely well in day-to-day retail.
