As digitalisation progressed, BPF saw the need to modernise B2B e-commerce and bring order processes into the same environment as other systems. Shopify solution that connects business channels
The Growly team designs and implements a B2B ecommerce for the Shopify Plus platform. The project focuses on the following areas:
- User experience and brand. We design a responsive interface that respects BPF's visual identity and helps the customer navigate a wide range of products. We integrate search functions and filters to make it easy to find products.
- Deep ERP integration. We implement a seamless and managed integration between Shopify and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. The solution combines data from online and in-store sales and enables automation in order-delivery processes.
- PIM integration. We implement integration between Shopify and Akeneo PIM. It automatically syncs product catalog information—features, images, variations, and translations—with Shopify. The integration eliminates manual labor and ensures that BPF's wide range remains up-to-date across all channels.
- Industry-specific characteristics. Authorization number verification and the ability to manage customer groups and price lists are built into the online store.
- Further development and analytics. Reporting and analytics tools are introduced into the system so that BPF can monitor the evolution of orders, customer behaviour and inventories and make data-driven decisions.
