Kaiko Clothing is a domestic clothing brand known for its responsibility, strong visuals and rapid growth. Kaiko has gained significant prominence in the Finnish fashion scene, and in 2025 it was awarded in the category “Fighter of the Year” at Digital Commerce Finland's eCom Summit & Awards. The brand has grown impressively, and its online store is an important part of the cornerstone of the business.

The old theme no longer served the growing brand

Kaiko contacted Growly in a situation where the Shopify online store was no longer supporting the company's growth. The theme they used was outdated and full of tweaks that had been done over the years using various apps and add-ons.

As a result, the structure of the online store had begun to resemble a house of cards, even small changes were difficult to make without breaking something. The brand needed an online store that was fast, reliable and genuinely conversion-proof.

New Shopify Theme, Conversion Optimization, and Redundant App Trimming

Growly implemented a comprehensive overhaul for Kaiko, building the online store from the ground up on the new Shopify theme.

We designed the theme to match the Kaiko brand and optimized the interface for both mobile and desktop use. At the same time, we did conversion optimization and went through all the applications that were in use, especially those that had previously been deployed just for the purpose of modifying the layout.

In the new theme, most of these applications were able to be replaced with native solutions, which made the whole thing lighter and faster.
